Creative Sound, Consulting, & Beyond
Megabloom Audio specializes in linear/interactive music composition, sound design, sonic identity, audio UX, branding, music supervision, creative direction, curation, implementation, consulting, and strategic partnerships.
The Brooklyn studio is helmed by Amnon Freidlin, the former composer and sound designer for Barneys' artist and brand collaborations (2011-2019).
Since 2020, he won two International Sound Awards for sonic identity & music composed for Sonic Minds/Orca. He led in-game and trailer music duties for Ultimate Rivals: The Court—a sci fi/superhero NBA-licensed game that premiered on Apple Arcade—in addition to contributing ambitious sound design and music consulting work.
Most recently he's worked as a senior sound designer for Microsoft in the realm of audio UX (for 50M+ daily users across the Visual Studio family), product sound design, accessibility, assistive sound, sonic identity, AI voiceover direction, AI sound, debugging, and marketing post-production. He is the inventor of a USPTO-filed haptic-audio framework (March 2025, assigned to Microsoft Technology Licensing) and recipient of the Microsoft Ability Award for Innovating for the Future. His audio UX work is featured in ACM SIGACCESS-published research on accessibility for blind developers. The Verge and TechCrunch covered his work shipping the first-ever Copilot sounds.
His output as experimental electronic producer Honnda (Orange Milk Records) has been touted on a slew of global must-hear lists.

“Ultimate Rivals: The Court doesn’t disappoint. In fact, it continues several trends present in 2021’s strongest game music releases – smashing game score debuts by established artists.” -Simon Elchlepp, The Greatest Game Music
“From sound designing [artist] Nick Cave’s Barneys New York installation to sharing bills with Yaeji, J-Cush and The Sun Ra Arkestra, the Brooklyn-based producer is a multidisciplinary whose borders are nonexistent.” —Dummy Mag
